Residential Program

CEDC’s Residential Program provides 24-hour support to females suffering from eating disorders and may serve as a viable alternative to hospitalization for some clients. Our 37-bed program serves medically stable adolescent girls and women who are ages 12 and older struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, or a binge eating disorder. We have three residential floors: one dedicated to adolescent girls, one for our emerging adult population (ages 18-26) and the other dedicated to adult women.

Partial Hospital Program

Our Partial Hospital Program is a day treatment eating disorder program. Located in Harvard Square, on Plympton Street, the Partial Hospital Program is easily accessible by public transportation and has ample metered parking. Eating disorders affect individuals from every background, lifestyle, and age. Therefore, our program strives to maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all patients regardless of race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, and gender identity. We are available to individuals ages 12+ transitioning from a higher level of care and to those who need greater support than outpatient care can provide.

Not only did CEDC teach me how to beat my eating disorder, but you also taught me how to be a good person, how to help other people, and listen to them….Thank you all for making me ME again.

Teresa Palmer

Thank you for everything—especially for believing in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. Sometimes that was what convinced me to keep trying even when I felt hopeless…
