Transitional Living
Mission Statement
Transitional living is designed to support females 18 years and older who are in recovery from eating disorders. Its mission is to provide women coming out of inpatient/residential treatment facilities with a living environment that is conducive for life skills development and healthy self-care. Its goal is to assist women recovering from eating disorders with gradual integration back into independent living settings.

Program Description: At CEDC, we know that recovery from an eating disorder is a long journey requiring on-going support. For many women, returning to regular life after leaving inpatient or residential programs may prove to be harder than thought. Successful recovery requires a period of living in an environment that provides the additional support of outpatient therapy and other outside structure. Living in a supportive environment provides the opportunity for those to re-enter work and school life with newly learned life skills.
