Seda Ebrahimi, PhD
Dr. Seda Ebrahimi,
founder and director, is a well-known specialist in the field of eating disorders. She is the former director of the eating disorders treatment program at McLean Hospital as well as a current faculty member at Harvard University’s Department of Psychiatry.

Ilana Licht, PhD
Dr. Ilana Licht
is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Clinical Coordinator of the Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospital Program at CEDC. She received a BA in psychology from Wheaton College in Norton, MA, and a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Ilana has trained in a variety of clinical and research settings such as the Walker Home and School, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Lemuel Shattuck Hospital, and River Valley Services/Connecticut Valley Hospital. Her clinical interests consist of eating disorders, anxiety/depression, substance abuse, relationship issues and trauma. Ilana has professional experience working with children and adults in individual, couples, group, and family psychotherapy.

Mark Shelford, LICSW
Mark Shelford, Intake Coordinator,
has been in the behavioral health field for over 25 years, working in a variety of settings including residential, partial hospital, outpatient, inpatient and emergency services. At CEDC, Mark conducts clinical intakes for residential services as well as individual case management and group therapy. In addition, he helps CEDC with insurance contracting and relations, state licensure compliance, and national accreditation. Mark attended the University of New Mexico undergraduate with a major in Philosophy, studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and earned his MSW at Smith College. For 15 years he worked for a community hospital, eventually managing their emergency psychiatric services, addictions services and social work services as well as working with insurance contracting, licensing and accreditation agencies. Mark moved to CEDC three and a half years ago to pursue his interest in eating disorders and to look for ways to improve care where possible. Mark is part of the team at CEDC that works with insurance companies to ensure patients receive the appropriate and necessary care.

The entire CEDC staff consists of highly qualified eating disorder specialists committed to patient recovery and advocacy. The center's multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, registered nurses, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and registered dieticians work closely together to ensure the highest level of care for the individuals in the each program.
