freEDom
It has been said that recovering from an Eating Disorder is one of the most difficult things you’ll ever do. Our goal with freEDom is to replace the shame and stigma many feel in ED recovery with pride and hope. We aim to have pride in what we have accomplished and allow others to experience hope through us. We plan to meet monthly with anyone recovered from an ED for more than three months. The meetings will be focused on creating a positive community around ED recovery, socializing with other people who have walked this journey too, and continue to foster holistic growth. In addition, we hope to utilize the strength in this community to increase education and awareness to the public when opportunities arise. No matter where, or in what form your treatment was, if you have been behavior free for more than three months, you are welcome here. Support groups are for those still struggling, we are here to thrive. freEDom is possible.
